Mayor of Huwwara, Mo’een Abdul-Karim Damidi, told a reporter of the Palestine News and Info Agency, WAFA, that military bulldozers destroyed the road that was recently paved with the cost of $400.000, linking between Huwwara and nearby areas.

The army never handed the municipality any notice declaring its intention to bulldoze the road or stating the reasons behind this assault.

WAFA said that the destruction of the road led to the total isolation of eight Palestinian homes and more than 1000 Dunams (Approximately 247 Acres) of Palestinian farmlands. It will also lead to preventing the city council from providing services to residents in the area.

Tears of Gaza

Documentary of Israel's "Cast Lead" assault on Gaza of Dec. 27, 2008 to Jan. 18, 2009. During this time Israeli forces killed approximately 1,400 Palestinians and Palestinians killed 9 Israelis (four more died in friendly fire). While most American reports claimed that Hamas initiated the violence, in reality Israel was the first to break the ceasefire. CNN was the only major US broadcaster to report this correctly when Rick Sanchez investigated the chronology and reported that CNN had erred in its earlier coverage.
